This is a painting of Mt Rundle from the Vermillion Lakes in Banff. I love the magic that comes from oil paint. The clouds arose in this painting as mystical shapes with oz like greens and blues. I loved working on this piece and resurrecting beautiful memories of Western Canada. There is so much hidden texture in this piece that pictures do not do justice!
