This 10 x 10 inch painting is a part of an ongoing series of views from the land that raised me. These spaces in particular are part of the walks taken at a nature centre down the road from where I grew up.
There was a specific time when I was 9 that I took a certain trail by myself and sensed this shadowy figure running after me. It is a prominent memory from my childhood.
